Wellness in Nature

Our unique program; WiN (Wellness in Nature) includes opportunities to take part in campfire cooking, nature/bushcraft activities, or to express yourself creatively through arts, music, and writing. There are no obligations or expectations however, as your time is your own. We have two regular WiN groups, one at Saffron Acres/Heath in the south of Leicester city, and one at Belgrave Hall/Mill Field Forest Garden in the north. WiN groups are free to access. We welcome self referrals, as well as those from Social Prescribers or Family Support.

Our Saffron group will be back for the spring term on the following dates:

Wellness in Nature for Women and Non-binary Folk

These sessions take place on the last Thursday of the month, 5.30 to 8.00pm, at Saffron Heath. Join us as we connect with nature and each other through the changing seasons. These sessions are free to access and include a light supper. Use the link below to book your place:

Fireside Supper – a Group for Men

A FREE Thursday evening group for men to come together around the campfire, with cooking, creativity, downtime and new connections, mindfulness and rest from the everyday. The group meets 5.30 – 8.30pm, on the first Thursday of the month in Nanpantan.

Public Events

We run a variety of events open to the general public throughout the year; profits from which are reinvested into the community. These events include quiet retreats, Family Forest School, Forest School for Grown-Ups, campfire cooking sessions, as well as seasonal and one off activities.

Outdoors Indoors

Outdoors indoors is our programme for groups of people who find it difficult to get outside, such as care home residents. We bring the outdoors inside through creating an immersive environment that stimulates all the senses. These sessions promote nature connection and provide opportunities for creative expression.
